Trevino Merion 1971

The 1971 U.S. Open was played at famed Merion. Two legends would duel and eventually face each other in an 18 hole playoff. Lee Trevino would better Jack Nicklaus and stake his claim as one of the game's greats. Pictured below is Trevino's winning scorecard from the 3rd round with 54 hold leader Jim Simons (playing as an amateur) as Marker. This scorecard currently resides in a private collection in Georgia.
